I recently came across the book, life is a trip, and immediately wanted to drop everything to be transported if only for a hour. Ahhh....I plan* (*I shouldn't say planned b/c then it probably won't happen) to do so after I finish the hilarious and informative, What's Up Down There by Dr. Lissa Ranking!
Marlan Warren had a chance to sit down with Judith Fein, author of life is a trip, in her Santa Fe home before she headed out on another month-long adventure. Marlan's interview will leave you inspired by Judith's motto on life "I live to leave", the ever-changing dance with her travel companion/photojournalist husband and Judith's passion for sharing these stories with us.
As a person who loves to travel abroad and has come to appreciate seeing the world "locally", I loved Judith's response to Marlan's first question...
Q: Why did you decide to write this book at this particular time?
JF: I wanted to inspire others to have cultural adventures that can transform their lives—across the world or across their hometown. Cultural adventure is the New Wave of tourism.
