How will you make this a summer to remember?

Summer will fly by before we know it. How will you make this a summer to remember? A summer where you carved out time to relax, just be, play hooky, no crazy schedule or big commitments...except for that vacation you've been dreaming about!

My friend Susan, founder of Flourish over 50, and I were talking about this very thing the other night over a glass of wine. I told her I'm finally caving in to the meaning of summer and will try to stress less about being off routine with the kids now home. As an entrepreneur, who works at home, its probably one of the toughest parts of the year for me. My schedule gets completely turned upside down. After chatting with Susan I realized I wasn't the only one attempting to approach this summer differently. With more intention to work hard but play hard too. She said one of her weekly groups just decided to take a summer hiatus and regroup in the fall all re-energized.

So I challenge you to look at your schedule and commitments this summer. What can you take off your calendar to give you more time to make this a summer to remember?

As for me, if you can't find me on a Friday...I'm probably out and about enjoying the summer :)
