Today is the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day! It's a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. In some places like China, Russia, Vietnam and Bulgaria, IWD is a national holiday.
To help us celebrate, check out these inspiring posts and events!
WISH: Women's International Summit For Health, 40 of the world's leading experts in health and wellness have come together to share their wisdom with women and you can listen to them all in the comfort of your own home.
Madonna: Sharing an inspiring story on IWD - Huffington Post
Dr. Sasha Galbraith on Huffington Post: We've come a long way baby! (starting with Kathryn Bigelow being the first woman director to win an oscar!)
Christine Arylo with Dare To Live You: What history left out of herstory! "What I learned in history class didn't come close to telling me the truth of what women have endured just in the last century, let alone the last three hundred, or two thousand years."
Lissa with Owning Pink, a gutsy guide to getting your mojo back, says in her post: "Never forget that, as women, we are infinitely powerful. Together, we CAN change the world. I love and honor each and every one of you today. Blown away by the awesomeness of women everywhere!"
Take a moment to recognize that you inspire the world, even on your bad days!
