Puppy love...meet Miss Daisy Dukes
Friday, March 5, 2010 at 12:08PM When I made that u-turn to go back and only "look at" the lab puppies for sale by our local cupcake stand (smart place to sell puppies!)...I knew we were going home with one. So here is Miss Daisy Dukes! If she had a doggie phone, I'm sure she would tell her brothers and sisters she scored. Her new family members are total pushovers and obviously still learning all the crate rules.
In the past few days she has nuzzled my ear (this hasn't happened in a long time!), chewed my iphone charger, given me lots of hugs (seriously, she puts her paws around my neck!), sits on my lap while I work, has pooped outside while Molly, my 19 month-old, peed on the carpet because mom forgot to put a diaper on her!
Am I officially maxed out, can't handle another thing?!!? You bet. But I have to say - the two girls, my hubby and the neighborhood kids absolutely love her. Plus I haven't heard "I'm bored" all week.
I'm sure you will be seeing more of Daisy Dukes!
Our cat is not sure what to make of Daisy yet. I thnk they will be sleeping together in no time!
