5 ways to get more organized

Like everyone else, Spring cleaning is on my mind. I recently tossed a stash of magazines that I was saving for something but forgot why. Not to fear - the nexy day 5 news ones were sitting in my mailbox. I confess to having a magazine problem! Over a two-week period, I created a pile of giveaway stuff that I dropped off at SafePlace. Ahhh...the bulky highchair sitting in the breakfast room is now gone and a few more women in need can clothe their babies. A win-win.

To share the Spring cleaning mood - here's a few inspiring solutions from Real Simple that are worth sharing. For the full list of Real Simple's storage solutions to get more organized, click here.

Show off your books. I've seen this idea a couple of times and really thinking about doing it. Maybe after our puppy gets past the chewing everything in sight stage. Those books wouldn't stand a chance right now.

Don't let junk mail past the front door. I go through our mail immediately and discard junk mail right away. It takes 5-minutes. I have plenty of other piles to worry about!

Get your prized magazines archived or toss them! Denver Bookbinding can bind your collection of magazines for you!

Use a tackle box to store zippers and sewing supplies. My husband does the sewing around here so I guess it would be nice of me to at least organize things a bit. hehe!

Remember everything. Save your ideas, notes and great web finds on Evernote. Recently I started using Evernote and so far, finding it useful for storing my thoughts or things I like online - all in one spot. A necessity for managing My Inspiration Lounge. Think post-its on your desktop with the ability to clip stuff with one-click.

That's a very cool idea of yours.
Thanks for sharing it here.

I learned something new from you.

Nice in my small office in generic viagra online labs I'm like that, but not in my place haha weird huh, it's not about to say my house is a mess, actually my house doesn't have to much stuff, because I'm almost never there, just for sleep.

I always do those kinds of things, so when the spring cleaning time comes, there will be lesser things to do. Though, being my house in Calgary being so spacious and I can't do it without any assistance, I usually need help from my family and friends, but when neither of them are available, I'd just call for the maid service to help me clean all the nook and cranny of my home.
