How to change your life in 1-minute: 5 creative ways to say NO
Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 7:38AM Ok, so we were born to please, help others and just made a pledge to have more compassion towards our fellow human friends. But, if we're not careful with the YES"s we make, we won't have any energy or inspiration left to give. We will walk around angry or complaining because we just committed to something we don't want to do or just settled for less. Sound all too familiar?
If you're not passionate about a project, not happy with your haircut or don't want to lend another dollar, here's 5 creative ways to say NO from Oprah's latest article, 54 Ways To Say No:
...the friend or coworker who wants your help with yet another school bake sale or project at the office-when you don't have time to deal with your own stuff:
Tell her, "I'd love to help; unfortunately, I'm already overextended."
...the friend or relative whose request to borrow money makes you uncomfortable:
I'm not broke, but I can't afford to lend anything.
...the perfectly nice would-be friend who keeps inviting you to lunch-when you know in your gut that the two of you won't click:
That sounds great, but I just can't put one more thing on my calendar for the next few weeks. Let me call you when things clear up. Who's to say things will ever clear up?
...the hairstylist when you're in the salon chair, as your hair is being butchered before your eyes:
Scream on the inside, smile on the outside. New York salon owner David Evangelista advises telling the stylist, in your most congenial tone: "I don't see this shaping up to be the look I was going for. Let's stop and talk it over so we can get back on the same page."
If, on the other hand, the stylist is doing exactly as you asked but you've realized you were insane to ask it: "I'm sorry, but I don't love where this is going after all. Can we stop and change direction?"
...Girl Scouts selling cookies:
Just order the Thin Mints. Seriously. It's for a good cause, resistance is futile, and you know you want them anyway. Do-Si-Dos are excellent, too.

It's about empowerment. When we say yes but mean no we can build up resentments against others. It's healthy to say no if you mean no. People will love you anyway.
of course, Hair cut can really change your life. it depends on how you want it to be.
we all want to look good and its a best way to start on your hair. it can change your face depending on the haircut you have.
