Narine Nikogosian, author of Return To Beauty, grew up in Armenia where fresh fruit and vegetable stands overflowed on every corner. They didn't just eat the fruit, but used it to create skin care products! Her grandmother even used butter on her face for a moisturizer! She would beg to watch her grandmother and mother get facials and then experiment in the kitchen using whatever fruit and vegetables she could find. Narine went on to become a very respected and successful aesthetician for Ole Henriksen, working with Hollywood stars like Charlize Theron, Ellen DeGeneres and Jessica Alba.
With Return To Beauty, Narine returns to her roots and shares her passion for homemade skin care recipes in a very fun and simple way. She features her easy-to-whip-up recipes (most only require a few ingredients) in five sections: By Seasons and Skin-Type, Sun Signs, Simple Solutions, When Pregnant and No Frills For Men.

OOH-LA-LA Cocoa Butter Eye Cream (perfect for treating dry skin under the eye)
3 vitamin E capsules
2 teaspoons cocoa butter
Combine oil and cocoa butter, then gently apply! Easy!

The Lioness Snack
3 tablespoons crushed walnuts
1 tablespoon raisins
6 dried apricots (good for anemia and exhaustion)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
In food processor or blender, mix them all together and then transfer to a bowl. Add 4 tablespoons plain yogurt and 2 tablespoons honey!
Eat 1 tablespoon after every meal.
