Best business networks for women entrepreneurs

In the latest issue of Pink Magazine, I read an article titled "Beyond Burnout" that stated women entrepreneurs make up the fastest-growing segment of U.S. small businesses. Then I read only 44% of women-owned businesses are in business after 4-years!

How do we make sure we are not part of the 44%?

We partner with strong business networks that understand the support we need to rock our business!

Here are the few that I've rounded up and had positive interactions with. My next step is to pick one - two at the most - to be involved with so I can commit the time that is necessary to truly take advantage of the services and networking opportunities.

These business networks for women offer:

  1. A platform to connect with each other
  2. PR leads/training
  3. How-to resources

I have used many of these networks to grow my business. And, I have a VERY unusual business. I sell ROMANCE products as tastefully as you can via my online store, home parties and my radio show. Of the networking groups you have mentioned, I have had MUCH success thanks to eWomen here in the Bay Area.

I have also had some success with Ladies Who Launch, too. Mostly with LWL I have made some great contacts and great friends who I know will be by my side for years to come.

Hatch Network is the one I am the most excited about going forward as I love Allie and Claire's vision to educate as well as network/connect. As a business owner, I know I have craved this for the entire 6.5 years I have been in business. I should mention that I will be leading Hatch Pods here in the San Jose/Campbell area in the Fall so I am a bit biased, but I am really excited to be involved with such an amazing concept that is very CONTENT and EDUCATION rich.

Thanks Chrystal for becoming a fan on facebook and your comment! Having all of these networks and groups for support is pretty awesome. Someone once said to me that being an entrepreneur is lonely. If anyone thinks this right now - go connect with one of the networks above!! Congrats on heading up the San Jose/Campbell area!
