This goes out to my friend Linda who requested Tiny Dancer! Elton John came out with "Tiny Dancer" in 1971. The song was written about Taupin's (who wrote the lyrics) then-girlfriend Maxine Feibelman, a dancer who had accompanied John and Taupin on their first tour of America in 1970. She would become Taupin's wife the following year. Tiny Dancer regained its popularity after reappearing in the movie "Almost Famous".
