This is a great time to do this exercise with Spring upon us and the first quarter of 2009 behind us. Looking back as if the year already happened was a fun planning tool I just completed myself April 2nd. Feeling overwhelmed with all my to do's and goals, I recently sat down to tame the chaos of my spinning head and heavy heart to reflect on what I would truly like my year to look like. The is a list that felt natural and good to me. Reading over it, makes me smile.
If you know where you want to go, your decisions will be more simplified. Your year will be less scattered and more focused. Keep in mind that if some of the things on your list don't happen, it probably means it's not the right time for them to appear. Re-visit it in 2010 and add it again if it still resonates with you. Your job is to know what you want and have a burning desire to get it. The universe will conspire to help you achieve it. Know the what, the how will unfold. Remember to write in the past tense as if it happened. Believe it. Put your intention to the paper when you write it/type it. Be specific as possible. Have fun. Try not to over think the process. Light a candle, put on some music. Set aside 20 minutes to write your list. 10 minutes to refine it.

It was really inspiring to see Maria's list. It's seems like I'm moving so fast right now, that taking some time out to jot down my top 10 list of fun and serious things I want to do accomplish this year personally, for my sites, and with my family. Not only will it be motivating but at those times when you're not sure which way to walk, it's a good daily reminder :) Thanks Maria for this inspiration!
