Pamper yourself inexpensively, here's how

When you think of getting a massage - it's usually an all or nothing kind of thing. If you don't have $80- $100 to indulge on one or have one-hour to spare, then you go without a massage for a long time. And you feel it. The knots and tension build. You get grumpy. Or maybe that's just me. But I've taken a different approach over the last two-months that's really worked out. I have opted to treat myself every two weeks on a 30-minute, $40 massage. And wow does it feel good. I hold a lot of stress and tension in my neck so the masseuse really focuses on this area. This time and money has been one of my best investments and delivers great returns :)
Some of you might be saying $40 is a lot of money. Try watching closely on where you spend your money over the next week. I bet you will find that the $40 you spend elsewhere can be reallocated to a special treat for you, a 30-minute massage!
Happy pampering! PS. Get one before the holiday rush sets in!

This is a great idea! I can probably skim on my daily cup of coffee to make this happen...$2 a day for 30 days ..$60 bucks!!! Perhaps I can make this happen once a month though not every 2 weeks.. Thanks for the suggestion!
A few less lattes is well worth a 30-minute massage! Of course, I also got suckered into a one-hour yoga thai massage...hehe! That should be interesting! They stretch you all over the place! Thanks for sharing Michelle :)
I heard about Groupon.com today, and if you live in the DC/VA/MD area they are offering a spa special! It's worth checking out..http://www.groupon.com/washington-dc/
